Maid Me – Terms & Conditions
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS CAREFULLY AS THEY CONTAIN IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, REMEDIES, AND OBLIGATIONS. THESE INCLUDE VARIOUS LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS, AND A CLAUSE THAT GOVERNS THE JURISDICTION AND VENUE OF DISPUTES.

The terms and conditions stated herein (collectively, this “Agreement”) constitute a legal agreement between you and Maid Me Cleaning Services (hereafter referred to as “Maid Me,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the appropriate entity (the “Company”). By using the Services (collectively, the “Site”), you agree to comply with and be legally bound by the terms and conditions of these Terms of Service (“Terms”), whether or not you become a registered user of the Services (outlined below), and any future amendments and additions to this Agreement as published from time to time at https://maidme.ca/terms-and-conditions or through the Service. Please read these Terms and our Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, you have no right to obtain information from or otherwise continue using the Site. Failure to use the Site in accordance with these Terms may subject you to civil and criminal penalties.

The Company reserves the right to refuse or change a service price in instances where extreme conditions are encountered, such as mold, bodily fluids, smoke damage, or water damage.

In the event of any concerns arising during the cleaning service, such as cleaned areas, areas inadvertently omitted, or damages identified, we kindly request that you notify us within 48 hours. Your prompt reporting allows us to address and rectify any issues promptly. Regrettably, any reports received beyond this 48-hour timeframe may fall outside the scope of Maid Me’s responsibility for investigation, resolution, and potential refunds (partial or complete).

The Company reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of this Agreement or its policies relating to the Service or Site at any time, effective upon posting of an updated version of this Agreement on the Service or Site. You are responsible for regularly reviewing this Agreement. Continued use of the Service or Software after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes. THE COMPANY DOES NOT PROVIDE CLEANING SERVICES, AND THE COMPANY IS NOT A CLEANING SERVICE PROVIDER. It is up to the third-party cleaning service provider to offer cleaning services which may be scheduled through use of the Software or Service. The Company offers information and a method to obtain such third-party cleaning services but does not and does not intend to provide cleaning services or act in any way as a cleaning service provider and has no responsibility or liability for any cleaning services provided to you by such third parties.

Maid Me is only a venue. The Service is a communications platform for enabling the connection between individuals seeking cleaning services and/or individuals providing cleaning services. The Company checks the backgrounds of cleaning service providers via third-party background check services; however, the Company does not guarantee or warrant, and makes no representations regarding, the reliability, quality, or suitability of such cleaning service providers. When interacting with cleaning service providers, you should exercise caution and common sense to protect your personal safety and property. By using the Service, you agree to hold the Company free from any liability or damage that might arise out of the transaction involved. Neither the Company nor its affiliates or licensors is responsible for the conduct, whether online or offline, of any user of the Service. The Company and its affiliates and licensors will not be liable for any claim, injury, or damage arising in connection with your use of the Service. Representations and Warranties
By using the Service or Site, you expressly represent and warrant that you are legally entitled to enter this Agreement. If you reside in a jurisdiction that restricts the use of the Service because of age or restricts the ability to enter into agreements, you must abide by such limits. The Service and Software are not available to children under 18 or others not capable of entering binding contracts. By using the Software or Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and otherwise capable of entering binding contracts. Your participation in using the Service and/or Software is for your sole, personal use. You may not authorize others to use your user status or assign your account. You agree to comply with all applicable laws in the country, province, and city in which you are present while using the Software or Service.

You may only access the Site using authorized means. The Company is not liable if you do not have a compatible device or download the wrong version of the Software for your device.

Acceptable Use
By using the Software or Service, you agree that you will:

Use the Service or Software only for lawful purposes.
Not send or store unlawful material or engage in fraudulent purposes.
Not cause nuisance, annoyance, or inconvenience.
Not impair the proper operation of the network or attempt to harm the Service or Software.
Not copy or distribute the Site or content without written permission.
Keep your account password secure and provide proof of identity if requested.
Referrals
You agree not to independently hire any Maid Me cleaner without paying a one-time referral fee of $3,000, due immediately upon employment, whether recurring or one-time service.

License Grant & Restrictions
The Company grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Software and Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to the terms herein. You shall not:

License, sell, resell, or commercially exploit the Service or Software.
Modify, reverse engineer, or copy the Service.
Launch automated programs that may disrupt the Service.
Payment Terms
Fees are due immediately upon completion of any cleaning service. Refunds are at the discretion of Customer Service.

Cancellations and Rescheduling
At least 24 hours’ notice is required. Late cancellations incur a $45 fee charged to your payment method.

Intellectual Property
Maid Me and its licensors own all rights, titles, and intellectual property associated with the Software and Service.

Termination
The Company may modify, suspend, or terminate the Service or your account for any reason.

Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service and Software are provided “as is.” The Company makes no guarantees regarding reliability, quality, or safety.

Limitation of Liability
The Company’s liability shall not exceed amounts actually paid by you in the six (6) months preceding an event. The Company is not liable for indirect, punitive, special, or consequential damages.

Governing Law & Arbitration
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Ontario. Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration in Niagara, Ontario.

Third-Party Cleaning Services
The quality of cleaning services is the responsibility of third-party providers. Use of the Service and such services is at your own risk.

Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important. We collect, use, and disclose personal information only as described in our Privacy Policy.
